While the season is only two months long, the schedule can be grueling. Just after 10am this morning, the Chaos left the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia, for the 200-mile trip south to Bristol.
A physical first half leaves a scoreless tie at halftime. Chaos head coach Scott Phipps talks with his team during the break and instructs them how to approach the second half “I like what I’m seeing so far. You’re creating opportunities. Let’s keep possession in the second half.”
The team plays with a lot of energy in the second half but misses a few opportunities to score and the game ends in a 2-0 loss for the Chaos. As the sun starts to fade in the western sky, the team heads back to Charleston. They arrive home just before 11pm, more than twelve hours after the journey began.
